Ferns or artisans ...

Farne

Ferns are true artisans: They grow like the tree ferns in the height, they last like the swimming ferns over water, they go like the royal ferns in the breadth, and they form a symbiosis like the adder tongue with mushrooms in the ground. The ferns don’t breed any flowers, but propagate with spurs. Their way of reproduction was a “skilled craft” secret. The composition of their foliage leafs seems artistic due to their fractal character. Altogether there are about 12000 types of ferns, which are globally widespread. They represent approximately four per cent of the plants.
