Conifers, Pinales I, or resin balsam ...

PinalesI

The conifers are divided into seven plant families. Pine trees are numerous in the northern hemisphere and there are many large forests full of these trees, especially on poor soils and under rather inhospitable conditions. They provide valuable wood, and one type of pine gives us pine nuts. A characteristic feature of conifers are their resins, which flow in resin canals and are used by humans for multiple purposes. In the southern hemisphere we find Agathis, the New Zealand Christmas tree that belongs to the Araucaria family.
