Solanales, nocturnal plants ...

Solanales

The nightshade and bindweed plants protect themselves from pests with toxic substances until maturity and by clinging to fences like bindweed. Some of these plants are well-known across the world, such as potatoes, tomatoes and tobacco. Roughly 4,300 species belong to the order, some of which bloom at night and remain toxic.
