Leaf power, or how you move with emotion!
Using their leaves, plants can use light as a source of nourishment and energy. But you don’t just provide yourself with nourishment. You also need an emotional energy source that transforms your pain and fears by motivating you and allowing you to flourish. What powers your emotions?
Reductionist: Like the cacti, you have reduced your emotional power source to a minimum, and moved it into your mind or inner self. You do not share your joy and curiosity with your supporters right away, but surprise them with your discoveries much later, after you have conquered your fear.
Aerated: As with the lily pads, you protect your power source from too much “water” and dirt by using your head, aeration, and letting dirt roll off. You are carried by a great sea of emotion, allowing your blossoms to unfold and ease your pain.
Protected: As with many Mediterranean plants, you protect your power source from emotional overheating with a “thick skin” or a shield, sending unwelcome messages straight back to where they came from. However, you need extra input to satisfy your curiosity and quench your thirst for knowledge.
Permeable: Like many shade plants in the forest, you try to bring your emotional power source into the light while proactively discarding too much water or emotion. To do this, you enlarge yourself and make yourself permeable to obtain as much support as possible against your fears. This way you know and feel exactly how to tap into external sources.
